State Licensing Requirements

Our state regulates and oversees the licensing of all practitioners of funeral service. We provide this overview of state licensing requirements to assist those entering the profession, as well as for those currently working in the field who wish to obtain additional funeral service licenses or required continuing education units of study. Renewal requirements for a funeral director license, embalmer license, or license to operate a funeral home, crematory or cemetery are also included.
